Please review the proposed revision to CIP-0056: Canton Network Token Standard in PR #255.
The revision makes the following updates:
Replaces outdated implementation references and fixes internal links.
Corrects the introduction to reference one remaining Canton Coin limitation, matching the existing detailed specification.
Clarifies that five of the six APIs apply to asset registries, while the allocation request API is implemented by apps.
Updates the documented registry discovery metadata key from
registryUrlstoregistry-urls.Makes minor wording and formatting corrections.
The changes primarily clarify the existing documentation. Confirmation of the metadata-key rename would be helpful, as the contributor notes that it was inferred from the naming convention rather than verified against the implementation.
In accordance with CIP-0000, we are seeking a Super Validator sponsor and a second Super Validator endorser to bring this revision to a vote. Please reply to the group indicating whether your organization would like to sponsor or endorse, along with any questions or feedback.
Once that support is in place and review points are addressed, the sponsoring Super Validator can submit the revision to CIP-vote.
